I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 9 (2) of the National Bank Transfer Act, 1966 (No. 8 of 1966), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the National Bank Transfer Act, 1966 (Commencement) Order, 1966.

2. The 26th day of March, 1966, is hereby appointed as the day on which the National Bank Transfer Act, 1966 , shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Section 9 (2) of the National Bank Transfer Act, 1966 , provides that the Act is to come into operation on such day as the Minister for Finance appoints by Order. The purpose of this Order is to appoint the 26th March, 1966, as the day on which the Act comes into operation.
