LOCAL GOVERNMENT (PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT) ACT, 1963 (MISCELLANEOUS AND LICENSING) REGULATIONS, 1966. |

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 10 , 46 and 89 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 (No. 28 of 1963) hereby makes the following regulations :-- |

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 (Miscellaneous and Licensing) Regulations, 1966. |
||
2. In these Regulations " the Act " means the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 . |
||
3. The prescribed authorities for the purposes of section 46 of the act shall be-- |
||
(a) the Minister for Lands, |
||
(b) the Royal Irish Academy, |
||
(c) Bord Fáilte Éireann, and |
||
(d) An Taisce--the National Trust for Ireland. |
||
4. Sub-article (1) of article 6 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 (Licensing) Regulations, 1965 ( S.I. No. 76 of 1965 ) is hereby amended by the deletion therefrom of the word " monthly ". |

EXPLANATORY NOTE |
||
The effect of these Regulations is to prescribe the Minister for Lands, the Royal Irish Academy, Bord Fáilte Éireann and An Taisce--the National Trust for Ireland as the authorities who must be consulted by a planning authority prior to the making of an order conserving flora or fauna. The Regulations make a minor change in the manner in which planning authorities lodge to the Central Motor Tax Account fees collected under the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 (Licensing) Regulations, 1965. |
