I, NEIL T. BLANEY, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 2 (3) of the Livestock Marts Act, 1967 (No. 20 of 1967), hereby order as follows: |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Livestock Marts Act (Section 2) (Commencement) Order, 1967. |
||
|
2. The 21st day of September, 1967, is hereby appointed as the day on which subsections (1) and (2) of section 2 of the Livestock Marts Act, 1967 (No. 20 of 1967), shall come into operation. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE |
||
|
The effect of this Order is to bring into operation on 21st September, 1967, the provisions of the Act for the licensing of livestock marts. |
