I, MICHEÁL Ó MÓRÁIN, Minister for Lands, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Game Preservation Act, 1930 (No. 11 of 1930), and the Game Preservation Act, 1930 (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1958 ( S.I. No. 186 of 1958 ), hereby order as follows:-- |

1. This Order may be cited as the Hares Protection (County Tipperary (South Riding)) Order, 1967. |
||
2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. |
||
3. The killing or taking of hares in the County of Tipperary (South Riding) is hereby prohibited for the period of two years from the making of this Order. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
The effect of this Order is to prohibit the killing or taking of hares in County Tipperary (South Riding) for a period of two years other than by coursing or by beagling under permit. |
