HARBOUR RATES (SLIGO PORT AND HARBOUR) ORDER, 1967.

The Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and by the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby orders as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Sligo Port and Harbour) Order, 1967.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 4th day of December, 1967.

2. The Schedule to the Harbour Rates (Sligo Port and Harbour) Order, 1953 ( S.I. No. 369 of 1953 ), is hereby amended by the substitution in the third column, opposite "Coal, Culm or Coke" and "Coal, Dust", respectively, of "1s. 3d." for "9d.".

3. Part 1 of the First Schedule to the Harbour Rates (Sligo Port and Harbour) Order, 1943 (S. R. & O., No. 43 of 1943), (which fixes maximum tonnage rates) is hereby amended--

(a) by the substitution at reference number 2 of "3s. 0d." for "2s. 0d.", and

(b) by the substitution at reference number 3 of "1s. 6d." for "1s Od."

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to authorise the Sligo Harbour Commissioners to charge revised maximum goods and tonnage rates at the Port of Sligo.
