REDUNDANCY CONTRIBUTIONS (METHOD OF PAYMENT) REGULATIONS, 1968.

I, P. S. Ó h-IRIGHILE, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 33 (2) of the Redundancy Payments Act, 1967 (No. 21 of 1967), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These regulations may be cited as the Redundancy Contributions (Method of Payment) Regulations, 1968.

2. These regulations shall come into operation on the 6th day of January, 1969.

3. Redundancy contributions shall be paid in the manner provided by section 16 of the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1968 (No. 31 of 1968).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations provide that redundancy contributions payable on and after the 6th January, 1969, shall be included in the employment contributions payable under the Social Welfare Act of 1952.
