The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of section 5 of the Nelson Pillar Act, 1969 (No. 9 of 1969) hereby orders as follows :-- |

1. This Order may be cited as the Nelson Pillar Act, 1969 (Commencement) Order, 1969. |
||
|
2. The Nelson Pillar Act, 1969 shall come into operation on the 3rd day of June, 1969. |
||
|
GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Local Government this 29th day of May, 1969. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
|
This Order brings the Nelson Pillar Act, 1969 into force with effect from 3rd June, thus vesting the site of the Pillar in Dublin Corporation as from that date. |
