I, MICHAEL J. WYMES, Commissioner of the Garda Síochána, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 89 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 (No. 24 of 1961) (as amended by section 6 of the Road Traffic Act, 1968 (No. 25 of 1968)), and with the consent of the Minister for Local Government, hereby make the following temporary rules in respect of the area comprising the county borough of Dublin and the borough of Dún Laoghaire : |

1. These rules may be cited as the Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Traffic Temporary Rules, 1970. |
||
2. These rules shall come into operation on the 18th day of March, 1970. |
||
3. These rules shall apply to the area comprising the county borough of Dublin and the borough of Dún Laoghaire. |
||
4. Where a traffic sign specifies the course to be taken by traffic in a street or prohibits entry into a street by a particular direction, the requirements of that sign shall be complied with. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
Rule 4 provides that the requirements of a traffic sign specifying the course to be taken by traffic in a street or prohibiting traffic from going in a particular direction, will be complied with. |
