LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1970.

The Government, at the request of the Minister for Local Government and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 , (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1970.

2. The several powers and duties of the Minister for Local Government under sections 7 , 18 , 26 (5), 26 (9), 27 (4), 27 (6) and 82 (3) of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 ), (No. 28 of 1963), are hereby delegated to Liam Cunningham, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Local Government.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Specified powers and duties of the Minister for Local Government under the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, Act, 1963, are delegated by this Order to the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Local Government.
