BORD NA MÓNA (WAIVER OF INTEREST) (No. 2) ORDER, 1970.

BORD NA MÓNA (WAIVER OF INTEREST) (No. 2) ORDER, 1970.

I, SEOIRSE Ó COLLA, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 2 of the Turf Development Act, 1968 (No. 28 of 1968) and after consultation with the Minister for Transport and Power in respect of the year commencing on the 1st day of April, 1970 hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Bord na Móna (Waiver of Interest) (No. 2) Order, 1970.

2. All the interest due by Bord na Móna on the 1st day of October, 1970, on the sums advanced to Bord na Móna under Section 53 of the Turf Development Act, 1946 (No. 10 of 1946), is hereby waived.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 8th day of October, 1970.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this order is to waive interest due by Bord na Móna on certain moneys advanced by the Exchequer.
