S.I. No. 277/1970:

ALLOCATION OF ADMINISTRATION (OIL POLLUTION CLEARANCE) ORDER, 1970.

ALLOCATION OF ADMINISTRATION (OIL POLLUTION CLEARANCE) ORDER, 1970.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 6 (1) (f) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Allocation of Administration (Oil Pollution Clearance) Order, 1970.

2. The administration and business of oil pollution clearance are hereby allocated to the Department of Local Government.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 24th day of

November, 1970.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order allocates the administration and business of oil pollution clearance to the Department of Local Government.
