DUNDALK TRAFFIC TEMPORARY RULES, 1970. |

I, MICHAEL J. WYMES, Commissioner of the Garda Síochána, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 89 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 (No. 24 of 1961) (as amended by section 6 of the Road Traffic Act, 1968 (No. 25 of 1968)), and with the consent of the Minister for Local Government, hereby make the following temporary rules in respect of the area comprising the urban district of Dundalk: |

1. These rules may be cited as the Dundalk Traffic Temporary Rules, 1970. |
||
2. These rules shall come into operation on the 22nd day of December, 1970. |
||
3. These rules shall apply to the area comprising the urban district of Dundalk. |
||
4. Where a traffic sign specifies the course to be taken by traffic in a street or prohibits entry into a street by a particular direction, the requirements of that sign shall be compiled with. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
1. Rule 4 provides that the requirements of a traffic sign specifying the course to be taken by traffic or prohibiting traffic from going in a particular direction will be complied with. |
