I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Transport (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1971 (No. 14 of 1971), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Transport (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1971 (Transfer Date--Part II) Order, 1971.

2. The 12th day of July, 1971, is hereby appointed to be the transfer date for the purposes of Part II of the Transport (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1971 (No. 14 of 1971).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to appoint 12th July, 1971, to be the transfer date for the purposes of Part II of the Transport (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1971 , which relates to the transfer to Córas Iompair Éireann of the undertakings of the County Donegal Railways Joint Committee and the Strabane and Letterkenny Railway Company.
