UNIT TRUSTS ACT, 1972 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1973.

UNIT TRUSTS ACT, 1972 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1973.

I, JUSTIN KEATING, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 25 (2) of the Unit Trusts Act, 1972 (No. 17 of 1972), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Unit Trusts Act, 1972 (Commencement) Order, 1973.

2. The 15th day of June, 1973, is hereby fixed as the day upon which the Unit Trusts Act, 1972 (No. 17 of 1972), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 7th day of June, 1973.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints the 15th June, 1973 as the day on which the Unit Trusts Act, 1972 shall come into operation.
