REDUNDANCY PAYMENTS ACT, 1973 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1973.

I, MICHAEL O'LEARY, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the power conferred on me by Section 2 (3) of the Redundancy Payments Act, 1973 (No. 11 of 1973) hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Redundancy Payments Act, 1973 (Commencement) Order, 1973.

2. The 2nd day of July, 1973, is hereby appointed to be the day on which the Redundancy Payments Act, 1973 (No. 11 of 1973), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to appoint 2nd July, 1973 as the day on which the Redundancy Payments Act, 1973 , shall come into operation.
