HOLIDAYS (EMPLOYEES) ACT, 1961 (PUBLIC HOLIDAY) ORDER, 1973.

I, MICHAEL O' LEARY, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 8 (5) of the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1961 (No. 33 of 1961), hereby order as follows;

1. This Order may be cited as the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1961 (Public Holiday) Order, 1973.

2. The 1st day of January, 1974, is hereby appointed to be a public holiday for the purposes of the Holidays (Employees) Act, 1961 (No. 33 of 1961).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
