S.I. No. 109/1974:

MAXIMUM PRICES (PETROL) ORDER, 1974.

I, JUSTIN KEATING, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise and the powers conferred on me by sections 22A and 22C (inserted by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965)) of the Prices Act, 1958 (No. 4 of 1958), as amended by the Prices (Amendment) Act, 1972 (No. 20 of 1972), and the Prices Stabilisation Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 96 of 1973 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Petrol) Order, 1974.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 26th day of April, 1974.

3. The maximum price at which petrol, of a brand or brand and grade mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule to this Order at a particular reference, shall be sold by retail shall be the price mentioned in column (3) of that Schedule at that reference.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
