S.I. No. 147/1974:

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (ROADS AND MOTORWAYS) ACT, 1974 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1974.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (ROADS AND MOTORWAYS) ACT, 1974 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1974.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 15 of the Local Government (Roads and Motorways) Act, 1974 (No. 6 of 1974) hereby orders as follows:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Roads and Motorways) Act, 1974 (Commencement) Order, 1974.

2. The Local Government (Roads and Motorways) Act, 1974 (No. 6 of 1974) shall come into operation on the first day of June 1974.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order brings into operation on 1st June, 1974 all sections of the Local Government (Roads and Motorways) Act, 1974 (No. 6 of 1974).
