EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (MISCELLANEOUS SEEDS) REGULATIONS (REVOCATION) REGULATIONS, 1976.

I, MARK CLINTON, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Miscellaneous Seeds) Regulations (Revocation) Regulations, 1976, and shall come into operation on the 15th day of October, 1976.

2. (1) Each of the following Regulations is hereby revoked, namely:

( a ) the European Communities (Seeds of Perennial Ryegrass and Cereals) Regulations, 1973 ( S.I. No. 19 of 1973 ), and

( b ) the European Communities (Italian Ryegrass Seeds) Regulations, 1974 ( S.I. No. 113 of 1974 ).

(2) The European Communities (Seeds) Regulations, 1974 ( S.I. No. 200 of 1974 ), in so far as they apply to beet seeds, cereal seeds, fodder plant seeds and seeds of oil and fibre plants, are hereby revoked.

(3) The European Communities (Seeds) (Amendment) Regulations, 1973 ( S.I. No. 174 of 1973 ), other than Regulations 2 and 5 thereof, in so far as they apply to beet seeds, cereal seeds, fodder plant seeds and seeds of oil and fibre plants, and Regulations 1 and 4 thereof, are hereby revoked.

(4) The European Communities (Seeds) Regulations, 1975 ( S.I. No. 252 of 1975 ) other than Regulations 1 and 10 thereof, are hereby revoked.
