S.I. No. 4/1977:

ELECTRICITY (CONTROL OF SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION) ORDER, 1977.

ELECTRICITY (CONTROL OF SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION) ORDER, 1977.

The Government, in exercise of the power conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Fuels (Control of Supplies) Act, 1971 (No. 3 of 1971), hereby order as follows:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Electricity (Control of Supply and Distribution) Order, 1977.

2. It is hereby declared that the exigencies of the common good necessitate the control by the Minister for Transport and Power on behalf of the State of the supply and distribution of electricity.

3. This Order shall remain in force for six months from the making thereof.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 11th day of January, 1977.
