AIR NAVIGATION (EUROCONTROL) (ROUTE CHARGES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1977.

AIR NAVIGATION (EUROCONTROL) (ROUTE CHARGES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1977.

I, TOM FITZPATRICK, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 12 of the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) Act, 1963 (No. 15 of 1963), as amended by section 1 of the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) Act, 1971 (No. 19 of 1971), hereby make the following regulations (the charges thereunder having been determined by me in pursuance of tariffs approved of under an international agreement to which the State is a party):

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) (Amendment) Regulations, 1977, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1977.

(2) The Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) Regulations, 1971 to 1975, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) Regulations, 1971 to 1977.

2. (1) The Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) Regulations, 1971 ( S.I. No. 290 of 1971 ), are hereby amended as follows:

(a) in Regulation 5 (1), "8.4425 United States dollars" shall be substituted for "4.9705 United States dollars" (inserted by the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) (Amendment) Regulations, 1975 ( S.I. No. 249 of 1975 )),

(b) for the Schedule there shall be substituted the Schedule set out in the Annex to these Regulations.

(2) The reference in the preceding paragraph to the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) Regulation, 1971, is to those Regulations as amended by the regulations amending them which were made before the commencement of these Regulations and of which the last is the Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) (Route Charges) (Amendment) Regulations, 1975 ( S.I. No. 249 of 1975 ).
