THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (WATER POLLUTION) ACT, 1977, (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1977. |

The Minister for Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 33 of the Local Government (Water Pollution) Act, 1977 (No. 1 of 1977), hereby orders as follows:-- |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Water Pollution) Act, 1977 , (Commencement) Order, 1977. |
||
|
2. On the 1st day of May, 1977, sections 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14, subsections (7), (8), (9), (13), (14) and (15) of section 16, and sections 22 , 23 , 24 , 26 , 27 , 28 , 29 , 30 , 31 , 32 , 33 , 35 and 36 of the Local Government (Water Pollution) Act, 1977 shall come into operation generally. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |

This Order brings into operation on 1st May, 1977, certain provisions of the Local Government (Water Pollution) Act, 1977 . |
