I, GENE FITZGERALD, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 21 of the Redundancy Payments Act, 1979 (No. 7 of 1979), hereby make the following Order: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Redundancy Payments Act, 1979 (Commencement) Order, 1979. |
||
|
2. The 6th of April, 1979, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Redundancy Payments Act, 1979 (No. 7 of 1979), shall come into operation. |
||
|

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
