S.I. No. 106/1979:

HEALTH CONTRIBUTIONS ACT, 1979 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1979.

HEALTH CONTRIBUTIONS ACT, 1979 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1979.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 19 of the Health Contributions Act, 1979 (No. 4 of 1979), hereby orders as follows:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Health Contributions Act, 1979 (Commencement) Order, 1979.

2. In this Order--

"the Act" means the Health Contributions Act, 1979 .

3. Subsection (1) of section 9 of the Act shall come into operation on the 4th day of April, 1979.

4. The provisions of the Act, other than those referred to in article 3 of this Order, shall come into operation on the 6th day of April, 1979.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation the provisions of the Health Contributions Act, 1979 .
