AGRICULTURAL AND FISHERY PRODUCTS (REGULATION OF EXPORT TO SOUTHERN RHODESIA) (REVOCATION) (No. 2) ORDER, 1980.

I, PATRICK POWER, Minister for Fisheries and Forestry, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Exports) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ) as adapted by the Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1978 ( S.I. No. 195 of 1978 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export to Southern Rhodesia) (Revocation) (No. 2) Order, 1980.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 20th day of March, 1980.

3. The provisions of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export to Southern Rhodesia) Order, 1969 ( S.I. No. 105 of 1969 ), so far as they relate to fishery products, are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order lifts the prohibition on the export to Southern Rhodesia of all fishery products coming within the scope of export control legislation administered by the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry.
