PORTAL INSPECTION ORDER, 1924 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1980.

I, RAY MacSHARRY, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 10 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966), as adapted by the Agriculture and Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 31 of 1977 ), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Portal Inspection Order, 1924 (Amendment) Order, 1980.

(2) The Portal Inspection Order of 1924, the Portal Inspection Order, 1924 (Amendment) Order, 1967, ( S.I. No. 69 of 1967 ), and this Order may be cited together as the Portal Inspection Orders, 1924 to 1980.

2. The Portal Inspection Order of 1924, as amended by the Portal Inspection Order, 1924 (Amendment) Order, 1967, shall have effect as if--

( a ) "or in relation to" were inserted before "the ports" in paragraph (i) of Article 1, and

( b ) the entry in the Schedule to this Order were substituted in the right-hand column of the First Schedule for the entry in that column opposite "Rosslare" in the left-hand column of that Schedule.

SCHEDULE

The enclosed yard and pens, belonging to County Wexford Co-operative Mart Ltd., situated at Ballyhire, Kilrane.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides that the inspection of animals for exportation from the port of Rosslare shall be made only in the place described in the Schedule.
