AIR-RAID PRECAUTIONS (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (No. 2) ORDER, 1980.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Defence and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Air-Raid Precautions (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1980.

2. All the powers and duties of the Minister for Defence under the Air-Raid Precautions Act, 1939 (No. 21 of 1939), and the Air-Raid Precautions Act, (No. 28 of 1946), are hereby delegated to Seán Moore, Minister of State at the Department of Defence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The powers and duties of the Minister for Defence in relation to Civil Defence matters are delegated to the Minister of State at the Department of Defence.
