S.I. No. 92/1981:

GREYHOUND RACE TRACK (BOOKMAKERS ADMISSION CHARGES) REGULATIONS, 1981.

Bord na gCon, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by subsection (1) of Section 48 of the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 (No. 12 of 1958) and also subsection (3) of Section 5 of the said Act, hereby makes the following Regulations, that is to say:--

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Greyhound Race Track (Bookmakers Admission Charges) Regulations, 1981.

(2) For the purposes of these Regulations a "racing session" shall mean a programme of not more than ten greyhound races at a greyhound race track licensed under the Act.

(3) The maximum charges to be made for admitting bookmakers carrying on their business to a racing session at the greyhound race tracks listed hereunder shall be as follows:--

Kilkenny	Kilkenny Greyhound Racing Co. Ltd.	£4.50
Lifford	Lifford Greyhound Racing Co. Ltd.	£4.50

(4) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 18th day of March, 1981.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these Regulations is to fix the maximum charge to be made for bookmakers carrying on business at racing sessions at greyhound tracks licensed under the Act.
