HEALTH SERVICES (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1982. |

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 5 of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) and by section 72 of the Health Act, 1970 (No. 1 of 1970), hereby makes the following Regulations:-- |

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1982. |
||
(2) In these Regulations the "Regulations of 1979" means the Health Services Regulations, 1979 ( S.I. No. 109 of 1979 ). |
||
2. Article 3 of the Regulations of 1979 (as amended by article 2 of the Health Services (Amendment) Regulations, 1981 ( S.I. No. 173 of 1981 )) is hereby amended by the substitution of "£9,500" for "£8,500" in sub-article (2) (a). |
||
3. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1982. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
These Regulations raise the income limit, above which there is a restriction on the extent to which services are available under sections 52 (1), 56 (2), 62 and 63 of the Health Act, 1970 , from £8,500 to £9,500, with effect from the 1st June, 1982. |
