S.I. No. 186/1982:

PHARMACY ACT, 1962 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1982.

PHARMACY ACT, 1962 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1982.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (3) of section 11 of the Pharmacy Act, 1962 (No. 14 of 1962), hereby orders as follows:--

1. This Order may be cited as the Pharmacy Act, 1962 (Commencement) Order, 1982.

2. (1) Section 2 of the Pharmacy Act, 1962 , shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1983.

(2) Subsection (1) of section 10 of the Pharmacy Act, 1962 , shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1983, for the purpose of effecting the repeal of the enactments specified in the Schedule to this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation with effect from 1st March, 1983 section 2 of the Pharmacy Act, 1962 and that part of the Schedule to the Act which is not already in force.
