The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2 of the National Community Development Agency Act, 1982 . (No. 20 of 1982 hereby orders and appoints as follows-- |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the National Community Development Agency Act, 1982 (Establishment Day) Order, 1982. |
||
|
2. The 8th day of December 1982 shall be the establishment day for the purpose of the National Community Development Agency Act, 1982 . |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE |
||
|
The effect of the Order is to establish under the National Community Development Agency Act, 1982 , a body to be known as the National Community Development Agency which will advise the Minister for Health on national policy relating to community development, self-help, poverty and social deprivation and support voluntary action by the community in relation to those matters and promote greater public understanding of them. |
||
