I, PADDY O'TOOLE, Minister for Fisheries and Forestry, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 74 of the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (No. 14 of 1959), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ) (as adapted by the Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1978 ( S.I. No. 195 of 1978 )), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, in so far as relates to the licence duty to be paid in respect of special local licences hereby order as follows: |

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the River Erne (Special Local Licences) (Amendment) Order, 1983. |
||
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 27th day of July, 1983. |
||
2. In Article 4 (inserted by Article 2 of the Special Tidal Waters (Special Local Licences) Order, 1983 ( S.I. No. 41 of 1983 )) of the River Erne (Special Local Licences) Order, 1934 (S.R. and O., No. 178 of 1934), paragraph (1) is hereby amended by the substitution of "£65" for "£88", and the said paragraph (1), as so amended, is set out in the Table to this Article. |

(1) The licence duty to be paid in respect of every special local licence to use a draft net granted under this Order shall be £65. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
This Order provides that the special local licence duty payable in respect of a draft net for use in the tidal waters of the River Erne shall be £65. |
