I, JIM MITCHELL, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 76 (1) of the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act, 1983 (No. 24 of 1983), hereby order as follows: |
||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act, 1983 (Wireless Telegraphy) (No. 1) Order, 1983. |
||
|
2. An Post is hereby empowered to issue on behalf of the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs and on payment of the appropriate fee licences for television sets in accordance with the Wireless Telegraphy Acts, 1926 to 1972. |
||
|
3. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1984. |
||
|
