LOCAL GOVERNMENT (PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT) (EXEMPTED DEVELOPMENT) REGULATIONS, 1985.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 4 and 10 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 (No. 28 of 1963) hereby makes the following Regulations:--

1. (a) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government (Planning and Development) (Exempted Development) Regulations, 1985.

( b) These Regulations and the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations, 1977 to 1984 may be cited together as the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations, 1977 to 1985.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 9th day of May 1985.

3. The Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations, 1977 ( S.I. No. 65 of 1977 ) are hereby amended by the insertion in article 10 (4) of "and the excluded areas as defined in section 9 of the Local Government (Reorganisation) Act, 1985 (No. 7 of 1985)" after "the Act of 1963".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations amend the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations. 1977 to continue in effect certain exempted development provisions in those Regulations in the excluded areas as defined in section 9 of the Local Government (Reorganisation) Act, 1985 .
