SUPERANNUATION (DESIGNATION OF APPROVED ORGANISATIONS) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1987.

SUPERANNUATION (DESIGNATION OF APPROVED ORGANISATIONS) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1987.

I, RAY MACSHARRY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 (1) of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 , hereby make the following Regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) (No. 2) Regulations, 1987.

(2) The collective citation "the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1964 to 1987" shall include these Regulations.

2. The organisation set out in the Schedule to these Regulations is hereby designated as an approved organisation for the purposes of section 4 of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 (No. 24 of 1963).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Section 4 of the Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963 provides for the transfer of pensionable service in the case of staff transfers between the Civil Service and "approved organisations" and between one "approved organisation" and another. These Regulations designate the organisation set out in the Schedule as an "approved organisation".
