CONSTITUTION OF URBAN AUTHORITIES ORDER, 1942 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1988.

CONSTITUTION OF URBAN AUTHORITIES ORDER, 1942 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1988.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred upon by him by section 34 of the Local Government Act, 1941 (No. 23 of 1941) hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Constitution of Urban Authorities Order, 1942 (Amendment) Order, 1988.

2. Part II of the Schedule to the Constitution of Urban Authorities Order, 1942 (S.R. & O. 1942, No. 272) is hereby amended by the insertion therein of the word "Leixlip" between the words "Kilkee" and "Lismore".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes the number of members to be elected to Leixlip Town Commissioners as nine.
