S.I. No. 364/1988:

FRESHWATER ROD ORDINARY LICENCE (ALTERATION OF LICENCE DUTIES) ORDER, 1988.

I, BRENDAN DALY, Minister for the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsections (1) and (2B) of section 68 (as amended by section 6 of the Fisheries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1987 (No. 32 of 1987)) of the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (No. 14 of 1959), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ) (as adapted by the Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry (Alteration of name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 82 of 1987 )), hereby, with the consent of the Minister for Finance, order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Freshwater Rod Ordinary Licence (Alteration of Licence Duties) Order, 1988.

2. In this Order "the Principal Act" means the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (No. 14 of 1959).

3. The licence duties in respect of Freshwater Rod Ordinary Licences of any class specified in column (2) of the schedule to this Order at any reference number is hereby altered with effect from the 1st day of January, 1989, to the sum specified in column (3) at that reference number.
