NATIONAL ARCHIVES ACT, 1986 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1989.

I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, T.D., Taoiseach, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 26 (2) of the National Archives Act, 1986 (No. 11 of 1986), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the National Archives Act, 1986 (Commencement) Order, 1989.

2. Section 5 of the National Archives Act, 1986 , shall come into operation on the 24 day of April, 1989.
