DETENTION OF OFFENDERS (WHEATFIELD) REGULATIONS, 1990.

I, RAY BURKE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Prisons Act, 1970 (No. 11 of 1970) hereby make the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Detention of Offenders (Wheatfield) Regulations, 1990.

2. Regulation 3 of the Detention of Offenders (Wheatfield) Regulations, 1989 ( S.I. No. 135 of 1989 ), is hereby amended by the substitution of "15 years" for "16 years".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations amend the classes of persons who may be detained in Wheatfield, Cloverhill Road, Clondalkin, Co. Dublin.
