DEFENCE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1990 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1991.

DEFENCE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1990 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1991.

I, BRENDAN DALY, Minister for Defence, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 8 (3) of the Defence (Amendment) Act, 1990 (No. 6 of 1990), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Defence (Amendment) Act, 1990 (Commencement) Order, 1991.

2. The 16th day of May, 1991, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Defence (Amendment) Act, 1990 (No. 6 of 1990), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 15th day of May, 1991.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides that the provisions of the Defence (Amendment) Act, 1990 shall come into effect on the 16th day of May, 1991.
