The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 34 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 , hereby orders as follows:-- |

| Short title. | ||
|
1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare Act, 1992 (Section 34) (Commencment) Order, 1992. |
||
| Commencement. | ||
|
2. Section 34 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 shall come into operation on the 6th day of April, 1992. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
|
This Order brings section 34 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 , which provides for the discontinuance of pay-related benefit for new claimants to disability benefit or injury benefit, into effect from 6 April, 1992. |
