I, BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the power conferred on me by subsection (4) of section 2 (as amended by the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) and Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices (Amendment) Act, 1992 (No. 3 of 1992)) of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) Act, 1962 (No. 32 of 1962), hereby order as follows: |

1. This Order may be cited as the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) Act, 1962 (Commencement) Order, 1992. |
||
|
2. The 1st day of April, 1992, is hereby appointed as the day on which section 2 (2) (as amended by section 11 of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) and Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices (Amendment) Act, 1992 (No. 3 of 1992)) of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) Act, 1962, shall come into operation. |
