CATERING JOINT LABOUR COMMITTEE ESTABLISHMENT (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1992. |

WHEREAS the Labour Court (hereinafter called "the Court") pursuant to the provisions of Section 39 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1946 (hereinafter called "the Act") made Catering Joint Labour Committee Establishment Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 225 of 1977 ) establishing the Catering Joint Labour Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "the Committee"); |

AND WHEREAS application has been made under Section 40 of the Act to amend the Establishment Order; |
||
AND WHEREAS the provisions of Sections 38 of the Act have been complied with; |
||
AND WHEREAS the Labour Court held, in pursuance of the said Section 38, an Inquiry into the application. |
||
NOW THEREFORE the Labour Court by virtue of the powers conferred on it by Section 35 and 39 of the Act and Section 45 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1990 (hereinafter called "the 1990 Act"), HEREBY ORDERS as follows-- |
||
1. The Catering Joint Labour Committee Establishment Order, 1977-- Section 2 -- is hereby amended as per the attached schedule. |
||
(2) This Order may be cited as the Catering Joint Labour Committee Establishment (Amendment) Order, 1992. |
||
(3) This Order shall be effective from Tuesday, 1st September, 1992. |
||
SCHEDULE |
||
2. In this schedule "Catering Establishment" means a premises in respect of which a publican's licence (spirit retailer's on-licence) under the Licensing Act, 1833 to 1988 is held and which serves hot food for consumption on the premises, and a premises or part of a premises primarily used for supplying for reward to any persons, not for the time being resident on the premises, food or food and drink for consumption on the premises, including fish and chip shops and ice cream parlours. |
