The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 27 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 (No. 5 of 1992), hereby orders as follows-- |

| Citation. | ||

1. This order may be cited as the Social Welfare Act, 1992 (Section 27) (Commencement) Order, 1992. |
||
| Commencement. | ||
|
2. Section 27 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 shall come into operation on the 29th day of July 1992. |
||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
|
This Order brings Section 27 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 into effect from 29th July, 1992. |
||
|
Section 27 replaces the Unemployment Assistance chapter of the Social Welfare Acts and contains a number of amendments to the Unemployment Assistance Scheme. |
