I, DR. MICHAEL WOODS, Minister for the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Marine Institute Act, 1991 (No. 2 of 1991), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Marine Institute Act, 1991 (Establishment Day) Order, 1992.

2. The 30th day of October, 1992 is hereby appointed to be the establishment day for the purposes of the Marine Institute Act, 1991 (No. 2 of 1991).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints 30th October, 1992 as the day on which the Marine Institute is established which shall perform the functions conferred on it by the Marine Institute Act, 1991 .
