SOCIAL WELFARE ACT, 1992 (SECTION 37) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1992.

SOCIAL WELFARE ACT, 1992 (SECTION 37) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1992.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 37 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 (No. 5 of 1992), hereby orders as follows:

Citation.

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare Act, 1992 (Section 37) (Commencement) Order, 1992.
Commencement.

2. Section 37 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 shall come into operation on the 5th day of November, 1992.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Social Welfare this 30th day of October, 1992.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order brings Section 37 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 , which provides for the integration of Single Women's Allowance with the Pre-Retirement Allowance Scheme, into effect from 5 November, 1992.
