URBAN RENEWAL ACT, 1986 (DESIGNATED AREAS) ORDER, 1992.

URBAN RENEWAL ACT, 1986 (DESIGNATED AREAS) ORDER, 1992.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 6 (2) of the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (No. 19 of 1986), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (Designated Areas) Order, 1992.

2. The area described in Part II of the Schedule to this Order is hereby declared to be a designated area for the purposes of the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 .

SCHEDULE

Part I

In this Schedule--

a reference to a line drawn along any road or roadway is a reference to a line drawn along the centre of that road or roadway;

a reference to the point where any road or roadway intersects any other road or roadway is a reference to the point where a line drawn along the centre of one road or roadway would be intersected by a line drawn along the centre of the other road or roadway;

Part II

Description of Designated Area.

That part of the administrative county of Dublin bounded by a line commencing at the point (hereafter in this description referred to as the first-mentioned point) on the Blessington Road which is 250 metres west along Blessington Road from the point where that road intersects Belgard Road, then continuing in a northerly direction along the boundary of the area declared to be a designated area by the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (Designated Areas) (No. 2) Order, 1988 ( S.I. No. 287 of 1988 ) for a distance of 183 metres at which point it intersects the unnamed roadway joining Belgard Road, then continuing in a westerly direction along that roadway for a distance of 159 metres, then continuing in a southerly direction parallel to Belgard Road to the point where it intersects Blessington Road, then continuing in an easterly direction along Blessington Road to the first-mentioned point.

This order provides for the designation of an area in Tallaght, Co. Dublin under the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 . The order contains a formal description of the designated area.
