COMPANIES (FEES) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1993.

I, RUAIRÍ QUINN, Minister for Enterprise and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 395 of the Companies Act, 1963 (No. 33 of 1963, as adapted by the Industry and Commerce (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1993 ( S.I. No. 19 of 1993 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Companies (Fees) (No. 2) Order, 1993.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 26th day of October, 1993.

3. The Companies Act, 1963 (No. 33 of 1963), is hereby altered by the substitution of the following Schedule for the Eighth Schedule:

PART II

Limitations on operation of Part I

1. The reference to £150 at reference number 10 in Part I of this Schedule shall--

( a ) as respects the period between the commencement of this Order and the 31st day of October, 1994, be construed as a reference to £50, and

( b ) as respects the period from the 1st of November, 1994, to the 30th day of October, 1995, be construed as a reference to £100".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to set the level of fees to be paid in connection with certain provisions of the Companies Acts, 1963 to 1990, with effect from 26 October, 1993, with particular reference to the fee payable in respect of the registration of a company.
