I, BRIAN COWEN, Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 1 (2) of the Irish Aviation Authority Act, 1993 (No. 29 of 1993), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Irish Aviation Authority Act, 1993 (Commencement) Order, 1993.

2. The 8th day of December, 1993, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Irish Aviation Authority Act, 1993 (No. 29 of 1993), shall come into operation.
