S.I. No. 180/1994:

URBAN RENEWAL (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1987 (EXTENSION OF CUSTOM HOUSE DOCKS AREA) ORDER, 1994.

URBAN RENEWAL (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1987 (EXTENSION OF CUSTOM HOUSE DOCKS AREA) ORDER, 1994.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2 of the Urban Renewal (Amendment) Act, 1987 (No. 16 of 1987) hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Urban Renewal (Amendment) Act, 1987 (Extension of Custom House Docks Area) Order, 1994.

2. In this Order "the Custom House Docks Area" means the area described in the Schedule to the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (No. 19 of 1986) as extended by the Urban Renewal (Amendment) Act, 1987 (Extension of Custom House Docks Area) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 206 of 1987 ) and the Urban Renewal (Amendment) Act, 1987 (Extension of Custom House Docks Area) Order, 1988 ( S.I. No. 105 of 1988 ).

3. The Custom House Docks Area is hereby extended to include the land described in Part II of the Schedule to this Order.

SCHEDULE

PART I

In this Schedule a reference to a line drawn along a street is a reference to a line drawn along the centre of that street.

PART II

Description of land

That part of the county borough of Dublin bounded by a line commencing at the point where Lower Mayor Street meets Guild Street (hereinafter in this description referred to as the first mentioned point) then continuing in a northerly direction along Guild Street to the point where it meets Lower Sheriff Street, then continuing in a westerly direction along Lower Sheriff Street to the point where it meets Common Street, then continuing in a southerly direction along Commons Street to the point where it is joined by Lower Mayor Street, then continuing in an easterly direction along Lower Mayor Street to the first mentioned point.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order extends the Custom House Docks Area in an easterly direction to include the area bounded generally by Lower Sheriff Street, Commons Street, Lower Mayor Street and Guild Street.
